Hey guys,

Anyone heard of this?

I went in for my first service last week and my service rep mentioned that since I'm still within the 12mo/12k miles suspension warrenty, I should have the "concentric bolt" replaced with an adjustable bolt. He says mercedes used a fixed type bolt and that when I later need to adjust the camber, this bolt will have to be replaced with an adjustable one, to the tune of $550. So he said I should complain that my car pulls to the right so that they'd be obligated to swap out the bolt under this short 1 year warranty.

Mercedes Benz was apparently cost-cutting here , so many have complained when they have to adust the alignment but are smacked with a $550 bill for this bolt replacement.

Anyway, I agreed, but they weren't able to perform the work because I have aftermarket wheels. I have to return the car with OEM wheels--but I gave mine away. Have any of you heard of this bolt issue? Anyone wanna sell me their wheels?

Dosent apply to the ML. It already has an ecentric (sp) bolt to adjust camber/caster
