Cannot help you with that one, but I have been told, that one should not put anymore tint on the rear windows.
Does any one know why?

My 2002 ML 500 Rear windows are between 15 and 20% VLT. This is illegal for front windows in most states. Check w/ yours here:
http://autowindowtintings.com/main.cfm?action=laws
I had them do 20% anyway (32% lowest legal in my state)
to get close - they tried a number of different brands and came up with an almost perfect match.... I'll have to go look it up to get you the brand.
The reason that no tinting is supposed to go on rears is they are alreay pretty close to legal limits in most states.
I had them tint the sunroof w/ a little extra tint w/ silver mirror - dont notice it in daylight - sun still gets through for that open feeling, but sun's heat is reflected even more! Also at night - it's a mirror for inside light.... yeah - you can see right down the passengers' loose... um ... nevermind.

Well I have a ml430 and have stock rear tints, I wanted to have the same tint on the two front windows, but in CA it's illegal. You know what, I did it anyway! Lol I decided to tint the fronts in 50%, so in this case cops doesn’t hassle you to take it off. Also I have a sky roof, so when it’s open it’s doesn’t look to dark.
