Does anyone know where I can find a small grill guard for our ML or know of another means of mounting a set of external driving lights on the bumper. We don't have a lot of money to spend, so the dealer bar is out; however, I would like the installation to look appropriate for the truck -- thanks.

You may be able to find someone selling a used bar. Alternatively, if you are handy with tools, I think it would be pretty simple to fabricate a couple brackets that would come out through the lower plastic grille to mount lights. The problem is they would not be protected and be prone to parking damage. Perhaps some ultra-compact lights could be fit into the lower grille?
