55mph plus vibration

I'm getting a very slight 55mph plus vibration. Feels like a unbalanced tire. I talked to the MB parts guy, he say carrier bearing goes at around 50K on the Ml500's. Sound reasonable? Its an 02 with 44K.
Thanks

Never heard of carrier bearing failure that early. Most likely a balance problem particularly if speed related. Could also be a bad tire with a damaged belt.

My carrier bearing blew up around 65K... it wasn't pretty... if you're hearing noise and vibration, check it right away.
