O-My-God Extended waranty for $5000.00?
Last month I decided to keep my 03 ML500 for long term as I don't want to spend another 20k to upgrade to something with slightly better fuel economy. I usually replace my car in less then 4 years, so extended waranty never came aross my mind at the time of purchasing the vehicle.
Last week I took my car back for B service at 40,000 miles. I request to get a quote for extended service of 7 yrs 100,000 miles. After 3 days, I got a call back from my service advisor indicating since the car already had 40,000 miles, the only extended service available would be from FORD Motor company. The cost is $5000 w/$200 deductable. I was shocked as I believe thats about the maximum I would spend on repair without waranty, so I declined it.
Can I count on my ML500 to last me another 3 years trouble free. Well at least free of major issue. Any suggestion of what I should do? Thanks.

However, when I tried to get a quote for your car it came back
"Plan and Coverages not found."
You may have to call.
Expect a price of around $3,500 for your car.
I bought an additional 48,000 mile coverage for my 2000 ML320 for $2,400 with a $0 ded.
