New found respect for the ML and especially for the 500 engine!

Well, after a horrible experience with the Enterprise at Downtown LA Motors last week, I took my car in again this week for more work and this time the manager at the rental desk really took care of me. He had a brand new (well 2005) ML500 Special Edition waiting for me.

After reading all the horror stories about the ML I was thinking, "great, I'll end up just bringing the rental back in for service". Boy was my thinking ever off! This thing took off right away. I mean I consider myself a real danger on the freeway now. What a total difference from the 320 engine. And the styling really grew on me after I drove it around for a bit.

I can't really see myself getting one because I still think my E class is a lot smoother ride and the seats are a lot more comfy but I do have to say that I have a lot more respect for these vehicles.

Just thought I'd share...
