Do ML 500 breaks tend to be soft?
Hi,
I have a two week old ML 500. Love it to pieces. My wife does too. One thing she didn't like though is she fells the breaks are soft. They don't seem to bother me, but they are definately softer than our Aerostar (please keep the laughing to a minimum ), but it just had break work, so the pads and shoes are fresh, although so are the ML 500's because its brand new.
Just wondering if a soft break is typical/normal for the ML 500. I saw one post doing a search that seemed to indicate it probably was.
Thanks.

Yeah...the brakes are a little soft...I find they hardened up a bit as the pads broke in...they are better now (4000m.) but still a bit soft particularly in warm weather...you get used to them...it really comes down to pedal feel...the 500 has terrific stopping power.
