I needed some part numbers for the 2002 ML running boards as well as the '02 ML55 grille. It is colored silver in addition to the chrome strips - this looks nice on the ML. See the picture below if you haven't seen the '02 55 grille.

Anyway, I thought maybe some of you might have the part numbers for those.

I was also thinking about the chrome handles and trunk handle (which the ML500 and 55 have). The first question I have about this is that for ML500's that are black, is the handle painted the glossy black or is it just left the black that the plastic is colored. And for the chrome door handle strips, I saw some part numbers in another post, which one is for a black ML.

Also, assuming I use the OEM strips (assuming they are available), are those difficult to install - would it be better to get aftermarket strips - any ideas. For the trunk handle, how would I go about that - is the OEM best or are there aftermarket ones that are better.

I was also thinking of a spoiler for my ML. Which would you recommend - the OEM one? Which aftermarket ones would you recommend if applicable, and which would be compatible with the antenna at the back.

Sorry this was a post full of questions and is very disorganized, but I have had a long day and am very tired at this time.

Does anyone have these numbers or info? How about the part number for the documentation package for a US '02 ML320.

Maybe I'll try this post over at mbnz.org - might get a reply there.

Thanks a lot for the numbers. Couple questions though - for the chrome door handles, what do all of those numbers refer to - wouldn't there just be four. Also you said without key hole - what exactly does that refer to.

Please watch door handle, you will find out a part of door handle is composed of two pieces, that is, handle lever and side plastic plate.

this plate is same as a part of key hole plate, but this has no key hole. So when you enter your car after installation, you can only use remote key.
