I have been a member of benzworld for a long time my user name there is Andrew2004az. I have been browsing this site for a while and thought i would join it.

I have a 00ML 320 with 43,000 miles on it and another 02Ml 320 with just a little over 20,000 miles. i have done a "custom" ipod install on my 00ML 320 i posted a DIY on benzworld with pics.

I am interested in the IPod conversion kit (custom) that you built. I can not find the post you are refering to in DIY. Can you post a link to this please. Thanks

also I have not found any info on 02 ML 500 w/ cd changer installs. Can this be done with out killing the changer?

well the ipod instal only works for none fiberoptic so you have to have a 2000ML or below. if you want an ipod in your 2001+ cars you have to buy a kit from www.densionusa.com that runs about 300-400$ but if you have a 2000 ML or lower with MCS you can install your ipod for about 40$ or less depeding cable you want to use monster brand vs belkin or other.
