HEAD LIGHT HELP!!! 00 to 04 head lights
so i go tmy head lgiths in ... so im doin the install and i theres 3 plug ins for the old head lamp and 2 for the new one... so i plug in the 2 and i turn tha light on ..iit looked fine then i did the other side... so i turn on the ar and i notice the lamps are very bright and i relized that the highs are on... so heres my issue when the lights are on in the first position the highs are on then all the way on is the lows the highs wont come off i think i need to do somethin about the wiring.. also the right side is outta whack i need to adjust it lower and also i started with 3 plug ins now i have 2 plug ins on the new lamps what can i do.. can SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME .. THANKS Guys

Did the same on my 00 last year. Cannot recall which wires went where but what I did was probe each terminal on the pigtails with a light probe by running through the headlight switch positions to see which terminal was for what. Then I carefully removed the wires from the plugs and reinserted then into the proper positions to coordinate with the appropriate bulbs. Not rocket science and don't buy any adapters to do this. ANd oh yes... the third terminal on the harness is not used, it is for the built in fog light bulbs (h1 type) that the factory did not install.

I hopefully will be doing this mod very soon on my 01 upgrading to the 04 headlights.
I too have the built in aux fog light which will not be used.
I am curious to the outcome here and if the results could be posted or pictures taken of what needs to be done.
Any chance of photos Riffyb?
