Stock exhaust system removal

I havent taken a look under the car yet but I was wondering if its possible to remove the stock system on an 2002 ML320 with out having to cut anything off. Id like to run strait pipes with the cats of course. Ive also heard that the O2 sensor could die, if anyone could help it would be appreciated.

all mbz eghaust is welded. you have a precat, a cat, and then the muffler and then ressonator. your o2 sensor is near teh cats if i remmber correctly. you car would sound very loud. batter off getting a tuned magnaflow/flowmaster. i have one for sale!

you dont want to go straight pipe, Your ML isnt an american pick up truck... there is a magnaflow or flow master on my 55 and it sounds good. The previous owner put it in so I am not sure which it is.

There is I believe still 4 catalytic converters in your 320, on either side of the engine comes a pipe into your first set of catalytic converters. Then your 02 sensors are in place before your second set of Catalytic converters

if i remember right, the first two cats are the "pre-cats" like big cats, just smaller.
