Getting ready to buy a ML500 - wht to pay?
Hey all,
Getting ready to buy a ML500. I wanted to know what is a reasonable price to pay for one of these as this is my first time buying a mercedes benz.
How much over invoice would you consider a good deal?
Also - is there any reason to go with an '03 over an '02?
Last, are there any dealerships/salespeople anyone would recommend to purchase from?
I am located in the New Orleans, La area and would prefer a dealer in the Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi area but then again, for the right deal - I am willing to travel just about anywhere.

For an 02, you shouldn't pay much more than invoice. You may actually offer a thousand behind invoice. I contract with a Benz dealer and they were offloading the 02' E-classes behind invoice. They told me when my lease is up next spring they will sell me an 03' ML500 for 500 over.

Yes.. You can actually get an '02 E class for 2k under invoice b/c of the '03 redesign. This was even posted in Time magazine or one of those mags - I can't remember.
Don't know about the 03 MLs. I got my 02 at invoice a few weeks back, and I thought I got a good deal.

I am currently trying to get a good deal on a 2002 ML500. Where did you get it in the Bay Area? Which dealership? I live in Redwood City. TIA,
