Changing Side Marker (repeater) Lights
Does anyone know how to get into or remove the side marker (repeater?) bulbs on a 2001 ML-430 - the ones by the doors a little above and behind the wheel wells? The plastic housing seems firmly attached to the fenders and there doesn't appear to be any way short of removing the entire wheel well shields to get behind them. Surely that isnt the way. I have tried a few times and am afraid of applying too much pressure and breaking the lenses. Does anyone know the trick? TIA

I think if you check your manual it will tell you to slide the lens off, I can't remember if it is to the rear of the front -- would have to check my manual.

Thats what it says! Not sure, but I assume you need to lift the very front edge up a little, so it disengages, then push it/slide it back, towards the door.
