I need a recommendation for aftermarket front & rear speakers for my 2000 ML 430. I want something that will be a direct replacement, with no modifications needed. Crutchfield's was useless...

You can run them with the stock amp and they'll sound much better. I had the tweeters put in my sail panel but you can still keep them mounted on the woofer. I had them powered by the stock bost system but I just recently installed a new Amplifier and I am running my whole system off of them. Sounds Great!! So either go with the MB Quart or Boston Acoustic Seperates with a crossover that you would just put in your door panels.
