HELP: Removing Stock Radio?

I got the 98 ML with the stand alone Cassette-Radio. I need directions for removal of this lame deck. Since my friend is dumping his WRX 6-CD indash, i am going to swap this 2 DIN in my car ....

try using something thin and very flat so it can fit between those 2 slots. if u start on the left slot theres like this spring thing it slides to the right u can feel it when your're doing it. while your're doing that pull it out at the same time so the radio doesnt go back in. and on the right slot u should push the thing to the left. and if that doesnt work. just use a screwdriver split the seam between the radio and the console. try opulling your finger bewteen them n pull HARD. it wont break. i might sound like something broke but nothin will..i did it to my ML.

Lightbulb

Very simple to remove with correct tool. It's part number 929-589-01-05-00 and costs $3.50 form a Mercedes dealer. Insert the keys into slots at the bottom of the radio and it slides right out.
