hankook

I sell them, and I feel they are somewhat smaller than the say, Conti, or Dunlops.
Reguardless of the paperwork on them, I had two sets I installed on a ML430 [275/55R17] and had to remove them. Went with Dunlop SP5000

I have these on my 2001 Infiniti QX4. They were on for about 8 months. In my opinion, they are AMAZING. Everyone loves the thread pattern. But what really counts is that they are functional. I feel like I'm driving on rails in rain, the grooves are huge and expel water fast. They are quiet, long lasting (after 8 months, almost no sign of wear), and even all-season rated! So it's like a summer tire I can use in the winter. Today it snowed a lot in Chicago, and I was impressed by the tire. They are no snow tire, but are just as good in the snow as any other All-season tire.

What really gets me is the price. Whatever size you want, they are usually one of the cheapest tires that gets good ratings. I paid $120 each with free shipping and got them installed at Walmart for $9.99 a tire, free lifetime rotate and balance included.

Yes there are better tires out there, but you have to pay significantly more than a Hankook. If money is no object, I'd still buy these for the summer but would buy winter tires. Check out Dueler A/T Revo's. They get the highest ratings for snow/rain/dry/etc... at tirerack.com And the thread rating is high.

Can you tell I love these tires?

Smaller?? What do you mean- circumference?

Why would you have to remove them? Customer unsatisfied or fitment problem?

Well, I went ahead and bought them based on the 1010tires.com reviews, other internet reviews, price and look. So far they are terrific, especially over the worn-out Dunlop SP's that were on there. Extremely quiet and look buff! $125 apiece plus tax and installation.

If I knew how to post pictures I would...

I Have Hankook ventus on my ml55, came standard from the factory, love them. cool tread pattern, great in the rain, not that noisy, but I was shocked that they did so well in the snow! Good traction and avarage stopping distance.
