help guys... about to pick up an ML430

few questions for you owners...

The car im interested in has 103K miles and its going for $15998. Is this a good deal?

The car is in exceptional condition as far as looks on exterior and interior. I only got to start the car and it started right up and sounded nice!

my questions...
1. when is the first major tune up? at 103K should I look into getting ready to fork up the tune up? The guy told me they have timing chains, so I wouldnt have to replace that until 200K? Does this sound right? If I have to fork up that tune up soon, i want to ask that price off of the price of the ML.

2. someone told me the MLs use platinum spark plugs and that the ML430 has two per cyclinder is that right?

3. Anything in particular i should be looking for when buying the ML?

thanks for you help.

1999 ML430
I WISH the ML held its value that well......!!!

You didn't mention what year is is........with that mileage I would guess
a 99/00.

yes, 16 sparkplugs for the 430.you don't have to use Bosch platinums

DO NOT purchase vehicle until having it checked out by a MB savvy mechanic and scrutinize the repair history and previous owners records.

You should have a LOT of wiggle room on that price. Work up from YOUR price....not down from his.......

Good luck and post pictures !!
