PIAA Fog Lamps on ML320
I purchased the PIAA fog lamp kit from the dealer in 1998 when i bought the ML and one of the lamps' bulbs has gone out and the dealer no longer carries the replacement bulbs for it. What bulb would I need to purchase and where can I purchase it whether it be at a store or online. Additionally for anyone with experience how difficult is it to replace the bulb, I've changed headlight bulbs on my cars before so yea, any help would be appreciated.

Fog/Driving light

H3ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting: the whitest and brightest Halogen
Im not fully sure weather they are h3's I would check your owners manual.. My fogs are in the bumper, and all I had to take off the plastic cover, take off a plastic ring around the light, pop the glass out, and the rest is bread and butter, if you have the setup im thinking of, then it shouldnt be too hard.
Im thinking you have this setup?

Oh I have no idea then, you need to find out what kind of bulb it is.
This is how a h3 bulb looks like

Out Of Control!!
open em up? It shouldnt be too difficult, its not like you could damage the bulb anymore In any case a replacement bulb should be fairly easy to come by

Here is where you can buy the whole kit. Think it might be a little cheaper than getting from MB as they might have a few extra parts to mount on the grill.
Not sure about just 1 replacement as I am in the same boat. A screw fell out of one of mine and lost part of the mounting bracket and it cracked the lens on it. I was thinking of pulling them completely and going with something else or putting the Hela ones in the bumper (have a 2000 ML430) and pulling the grill guard for a different look than I have had.

Hope it helps.

Thx, I checked the price and was dismayed.
$ 221 for the 2.
I'll double check with the stealer one last time before ordering online.

Update - talked to the stealer
Stealer said that the bumper has to be removed to get to the lights.
But good news he had the parts in stock.
Remove Bumper and install Light $106
Fog Light $146 (1) - 292(2)
I think I'll get them online and install myself.
