Something I absolutely love
W163 Bull Bar, Nerf Bars, and Wood Wheel Pricing
Does anyone know where I can find a quality Bull Bar and/or Nerf Bars for a cheaper price than what MB wants?
Also a Wood steering wheel for Black Maple Burl Wood?
Thanks

2007 R350 - P01- Black on Black, 2008 Toyota Sienna Limited
I've got a brand new OEM Mercedes bull bar for my 05 ML350 sitting in my garage (opened the box) I've decided not to install it, so let me know if you're interested since it's just taking up space.

I'm not sure on the fitment part, might want to check with the stealer so they can confirm. As for a price, it like ~$750 at the dealer, I'd be willing to part with it for ~$400 plus shipping

Aries Offroad Nerf Bar- Stainless
I got a black '02 ML500. It took me awhile to find a nerf bar that I like. I did not want the original OEM one.
Here is what I ordered and I am happy with it:
You can get it from: http://www.suvxccessory.com/xccessor...-200001-2.html
Which is still unavailable but cheaper.
or get it from here if you can't wait, This is where I got my nerf bar:
http://www.autoanything.com/products..._road_side_bar
Cost 279.95/pair shipping $45. I got mine during the winter sale so I was able to take a 10% off.
details on the guide can be located here: http://www.ariesautomotive.net/application.html
You will just need to call them up since the one for the 2005 and below guide is the same as the one for the 2006 ML model. I figured out the installation since it was easy to install. It just took me the whole afternoon since I still have to take out the underside plastic protector and cleaned it up before I can install the brackets. This will be a good time before you go down on your back to get a rust proofing sprayer like the Rust Tough Enamel made by Krylon for corrosion protection. You will get to see rust buildup underneath and will have the need to spray something in there.
The only reminder is that every six months to a year inspect the brackets, nuts and bolts as they are not stainless steel. They tend to rust after awhile so keep due diligence in making sure that you repaint or put a no rust applicator every now and then.
I've attached an image from their web site and hope to save you a couple of hours on your search.
Good luck!
