MSC nav harness RCA to RGB

MSC nav harness RCA to RGB
My 2000 ML320 MSC has no navigator drive, thus thre is a 23 Pin conector that would normally if a navigator drive is available be pluged to it.
I bought a RCA to RGB converter for $ 200 with the folowing outputs :
Red, Green, Blue, Sync and Ground.
What i would like to do is conect the rgb to the 23 pin conector to get Video in through the navigation harness.
1- can anyone proved the correct pin outs for the 23 conector nav harness
2- Can some provide info on how to activate the Nav button without having a navigator drive ?
No need to a Star scanner because it uses the same concept of the CD changer , lets say u remove the cd changer plug , the result will be No Cd Changer installed.... based on that i think thee is a way to jumo some wires to get a nav installed...
any feedbacks ?
thnks

Out Of Control!!
you are very much on the right track, not sure how to decipher which wires do what. I think maybe an electrical wiring guide (maybe for the truck) would have it or contact the manufacturer of the MCS unit and ask them for the wiring guide for the unit. Generally when someone uses that RGB convertor they use the main set going to the screen and leave the nav drive available for nav install at a later date.(this would be my recomendation. Using a 4 pole switch you should easily be able to switch back and forth no problem from the video source and whats suppose to appear on the screen. then modifying your tape for an aux input would be good too.

1- I searched all forums but thus couldnt find the pin out of the 23 pin harness.
Alpine would never give u any wirirng .
I know i am on the right track , some people and companies are already doing this but no one will tell u how keeping the privilege to them.
2- i dont mind using the nav harness , but still i dnt know how to make the MCs unit think that a nav drive is installed.

i just finished testing the Cd changer conection trying to find what activates the CD CHANGER Installed.
Apparently only 5 wires of the 10 are needed to activate the CD button.
1 ground, 2 +12V and 2 return wires CDC Data from the cd box.
If i had a nav drive i would have did the same with the 23 pin harness in order to see which ones activate the NAV button .
