Tune Up

Hello everybody..
My 2000 ML430 now hitting 100K and I got it used...btw I live in LA so it does quite high milleage from previous owner..but it seems like they quite taking care of it....
So far I have changed the air filter from stock to K&N and it does do better for accelaration...
I m planning to do tune up0 for my car and I need suggestion what should I do beside change oil, spark plugs, transmission oil...
One more thing is there any good shop around here..I live around Diamond Bar

Im confused, i heard you cant change the tranny oil, I think its seald for life...not sure tho...

for the 100K, I took my ML to a independent benz shop in Orange County, got the oil changed/tranny oil/spark plugs/fuel filter done.

The tranny oil thing is funny...

MB says its sealed for life, but I called my dealership and they said, although it is sealed for life, they wouldn't mind opening it, flushing it and refilling it...

Hey thanks a lot buddy I ll keep in mind of what I suppose to do...
btw do u have any suggestion for my catback system due I have to replace it the whole system...should I keep with original or after market...
I knw is hard to find after market..but the mechanic suggest me to keep the original part for my ML...

I think the OEM would be good enough.

If you need a local independent shop in OC for a second opinion, I'll give you the contact info.

Yeaap I keep it in original material and according to ML430 user the cat has been an issue lately and they have tried to convience OEM to make a recall for the cat back system...
I hope they re doing it cz mine happen out of nowhere...n cat back doesnt cost cheap either....
well at least mine is done now, again thank you for your information...
