anywhere other than dealer to find recalls?

First off just want to say hi to everyone here....seems like a great forum.I have a couple of problems that I hope I can get resolved through here. I brought my ML to get a new AAM ( control module for remote) anyway there was a recall for power steering line but i never got notified other than going to the dealer. Is there anyway to find out recall info? btw i tried searching so dont hit me with that..second my rear wiper works fine, but the windshield washer fluid does not come out....i havent really checked it out, but im sure its a simple fix...possibly clogged? My next problem is that a light in my instrument cluster is out, and I know the dealer charges an exorbitant amount. Possibly a write up somewhere? Thanks in advance guys!

You can try http://www.alldata.com/tsb/index.html

BTW there are no recalls or campaigns listed for steering for the 163 other than DTB T-B-46.20/30a FEB06 Steering Complaints.

OK, that’s because this list doesn’t go back to 03.

FYI: A recall is just that your vehicle is recalled with a letter however a Campaign is a service campaign whereas it is performed the next time you bring your vehicle in for service or another problem. Crazy as it sounds if you didn’t bring your vehicle in you would have never known. At least annually, it would be best to check with your dealer by giving your VINs.

Anyway, glad to see you found a copy.

Campaigns are recalls with less urgency. According to the suits, a recall is safety driven while a campaign is driven by revision or update.

Correct, with alldata you’ll have to sort by issue date then check each entry: Recall, Campaign, and any TSB you think may correspond with a particular problem you’re experiencing.

Once again, for recalls & campaigns you can have your dealer’s service dept. check by giving them your VIN.

I would have guessed the same as you, clear the washer jet. Your best bet would be to post on the Tech Talk forum https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-tech-talk-41/

IMO the CLS is simply fantastic in every respect! Show stopper design, great performance & handling, quality build, not to mention dead quiet interior.
