Do you have tinted windows on your W163? If so, what brand, film color, and tint %?

I'm thinking about getting my front windows (and maybe rear windows) tinted. I just want to hear your opinions on what you have.

Also, if you dont mind, please state how much it cost you.

btw, I'm new to this whole tinting thing. All I know are the tint %.

I have 15% Llumar Tint... I paid around 90-100 dollars to get it done. Great quality, and it matches the OEM tint very nicely. If you go 10%, get 5% over the OEMs.

Llumar is probably the best quality tint you can have, most places who install Llumar offer a lifetime warranty, so if you scratch it, they will replace it. 3M is also a good quality tint.

mine front windows Meter at 13%, so like Vik, I would assume they were done with 15% tint as well. The original owner had done it. Two front windows should not cost all that much

I had mine done at 20% for $60 cash. Don remember the brand, and it matches alright, but not perfect. The problem with the matching is that the stock tint is a brown hue, and most films are grey. under certain light it looks really good, in others it stands out that it is not nearly the same. It used to bug me but I dont even think about it anymore. The tint still provides privacy and protection from burning sun on my arm, so Im happy with it.
