HELP!!! CD Changer Error - "Magazine Not Inserted"
I am having problems with my CD Changer.
I get this error when I press the 'CD' button, "Magazine not found, insert magazine" even though the cd magazine is in.
Since I added a burnt cd a with face label to the magazine, the cd changer(system) does not recongnize the magazine.
Model: ML 350, year 04.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i didn't want to make a new thread, so i am bumping this one..
my dad just got his ml350 back from the body shop, also 2004, and the cd changer doesn't work. i click the cd button and it says "no cd changer" and when i go to the cd changer to eject the magazine, it doesn't come out.. what the hell is wrong?? it's been in the shop for body repairs for 4 months..

k.. wires are plugged in.. and my dad thinks the the whole vehicle wiring is ****ed up.. the alarm remotes don't work.. even with new batteries.. so my dad has to bring it back to get it looked at.. the whole electrical was re done due to the front frame being replaced

First see if you can eject the magazine since it's stopped working, second, take that bogus cd out of there. Pop the magazine back in the changer and see if it works. It's possible the changer is having load problems with the burnt/labeled cd due to being thicker than normal cds, it may be jammed now or it may just not like that CD and wont let the magazine load properly.

Those service intervals are spread too far and thin as it is in my opinion
