Comand system for ML500 Australia

Comand system for ML500 Australia
HI
I am a brand new member and have just traded my 97 E series for an ML 500.
It is a 2002 model and I have found that all the Australian models were not fitted with the Comand 2.0 system although from what i understand the fittings are in place to just plug it in. Is this correct?
The cars in Oz were fitted with a single DIN player and a storage box. Something like what is shown below.
I want to upgrade the central console with the COMAND system and preferably a comand system from one of the newer models.
1. Can I get a command system from one of the newer models to work with this car?
2. Can I get one so that it can take an input from a reversing camera?
3. Has anyone got this done in Oz? and if so what does it cost? ( including phone and CD stacker).
4. Where can i get the SAT NAV discs for Australia if this can be done?
