fog light replacement

I know that the MLs use H8 35/55w bulbs for the fog lights on the standard 03+ bumper. I'm sick of the stock bulbs and I am looking for nice YELLOW fogs, I currently have PIAA ION YELLOW on my W203, and I cant seem to find a set of "H8" ones, but theres a set for NOKYA (2500k) any good suggestions? what do you guys use? any pics would be appreciated! thankyouu

fog light replacement

I haven't been able to find any high performance or fog type H8 bulbs either.. Though, I have removed the bulb metal shield of my OEM fog lights and it increased the light output..

I wonder why there isn't any high performance H8's around..?

I had a pair of purple NOKYA 9005 bulbs on another vehicle. Good quality. I have a pair of ION Yellow H9 bulbs in a Honda Odyssey made by MTEC, they are not a brilliant yellow - but give off a lot of prismatic colors when viewed from oblique angles. Hope this helps you make your decision. You may want to check what the differences between H8 and other other bulbs are. E.g.- H9 and H11 differ only by the mounting tabs - which can be doctored to fit. But the H11 is 55 watt vs the H9 35 watt.

Thanks for the reply, I def need a set of yellow fogs, and will look into removing the metal shield, shouldnt be difficult!?

I'm guessing a set of Nokya 2500k H8s would do for now, until I find something else? I notice that MTec quality is but im a lil shaky about Nokya...mainly because Ive been using PIAA for most my cars

heres a pic of my CL203 with PIAA ION YELLOW FOGS
