Window Console Light
I have a 2001 Ml 320 and the light bulb to the center console where the window switch are blew. I dont know where the light bulb is located or how to get to it.
Does anyone know where the lightbulb is located and how do I get to it?

Would it be possible to take a picture of where the light went out I am a bit lost on where it went out. But the best way if it is under the window switches is to take out the center consul lid and bin.( when I say center consul I am talking about where you would rest your elbo if you are driving and where you put change and stuff ext) To remove them it just takes a screw driver take the lid off first then 2 screws at the bottom of the bin( not sure of the 01 have the updated screw-less bottom but you just push the center of the circle and it will pop out) After you have that you you should be able to see below the window switches if you need to take more apart remove the plastic trim around the transmission casing and take off the shifter *** and you can remove basically the whole center of the car.
You need to take out the bulwood cover to the center console!
1. 2 screws in the bottom of the armrest container box
2. Pry up the cover starting from the armrest side
3. turn over the burlwood cover , the bulb is in the middle on the underneath side of the cover!
