03 ML500 Brake pad & Rotor

Just made my purchase online after reading thru the old forum posts. I purchased the ROTEX GOLD pad and Brembo OE replacement rotors. Hope I made the right choices. I got the Pads from Brakeworld and Rotors from tirerack.

Just did the same. Had terrible squeal on the rears with Hawk HP Plus. Changed to rotex. Took about 1000 miles for it to go away. Still have a touch of squeal with about half brake pedal, but I don't think it is the pads. The Hawks may have been OK, just didn't put enough miles to bed them in.
Regards,
Jerry

Hopefully my experience will be better. But if the noise is not too bad for $500.00 in saving from Original parts I can learn to live with it.

Installed it over the weekend and I'm loving it so far. Less brake dust and obsolutely silent. Its very smoother but it feel less grabby then OEM pad. I think OEM pad offers better braking power then Rotex or maybe I'll just need to break it in more. Other then that this combo is almost perfect.

I don't think its a very hard job but to save myself the frustration and time for $150.00 I opted to have my trusty local mechanic do it for me.
