Anyone here from Chicago know of a place that does brakes for cheap? I don't want to goto the stealership to have them done. Any help would be great!

Order whichever set you need Rear / front and take them to GATEWAY AUTO SERVICE on Division...they also have a new location on North Elizabeth...The guys labor rate is pretty reasonable....

Since this is the first set I'm going to have to channge, do you have any suggestions on which are good? Or, does anyone have any suggestions??

This is a pretty easy job, you can do it yourself. Then the cost will be just the parts and an hour of your time. Do a search in this forum and you get tonnes of info. Also make sure you dont forget to buy anti squeel paste from MB dealership. Here is a link on how to:

I did the brake install by myself and it was easy. I bought the rotors/pads online. The total cost was a fraction of what dealer quoted. Good Luck
