2001 ML320
Question Broken power window control/seat pull

I have a 2001 ML320 with about 19,000 miles on it. I'm going to have my driver's power window switch replaced for the second time. I imagine I'm not alone here.

My question is, if this keeps happenning every 10 months or so, will MB make any provisions to fix this, at their expense, if it continues to happen after my 48m/50K warrantly expires? Obviously this is a design problem and I'm thinking that if I have to get a new switch close to the end of my warrnaty it should have some type of guarantee.

I've had the same problem with the handle used to flip the 1/3 rear right seat forward. It has broken off twice and fixing it is a pretty big job, something to do with the entire cable system that contols the intricate seat mechanism.

Does anybody know how MB deals with these type of recurrent problems?

Thanks!
