Hello, I am new to this forum. I hope you guys could help me out this question. Is 2002 ML320 required to change the air filter for the air conditioning system? Where? and how to do it? since most of the air conditioning system at home need to change or wash the air filter regularly to keep it clean and maintain a good air flow. How about the ML320 need to do so? If the air conditioner use the air filter for external air in-take, then is there any filter for internal air circulation mode?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

The cabin filter is located in the passenger side footwell. If you look into that area, look up underneath the glove box area, and you should see two black metal screws, and a plastic clip thing.
You'll have to remove the two screws and unclip the thingy, be careful when you take it off since the wires for the 12V are still connected. Then you'll see a vertical box thing where you'll have to remove the cover and take the air filter out.
This is the only pic I have right now of the cabin filter, so it's REALLY hard to explain things. If by tomorrow you haven't figured it out I'll take better pictures.![Embarrassment](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
