what s up guys..currently I m dallas Tx and my 2000 ML430 need to do some servise which is oil change...I got input from some of you that the car should use Mobil 1 0W-40 and couple of my buddies said that I also could use other which is 5W-30 or 10W-40...
I really need to know the different it ll make to my car cz personally I rather follow the manual but if other oil will have better result for my engine then I would say why not...so please let me know if there is anyone have try to use different kind oil for ML430...

Get yourself an oil that meets 229.5 spec. M1 0W40 certainly does and can be found at WallySmart or Autozone or a Mobil gas station.

Thanks guys I could find 0w-40 no problem...I guess as long as the oil meet the spec 229.51 then if they 5W-30 or 10W-40 should be okiee right....
