ML W163 AMG style fender flares
I own a brilliant silver '03 ML500 Inspiration edition which I am really happy with. I would like to add the AMG / Sport style fender flares, but;
The dealer is asking $1,600 for the job. The flares painted are $825 and then they need some brackets at $185 for set...
Does anyone know where to buy a set of flares for an '03 and what are the brackets required? Any advice would be appreciated.

Is $1,600 for the AMG flares? If so you will also need a AMG rear bumper. There are flares that are available for the 02-05 ML's which don't require a different rear bumper and a buddy of mine purchased a painted set for around $800. The flares attach to the car with double sided tape and clips. I believe the "brackets" are the endcaps that are used on the rocker panels if you don't have nerf bars. If they are...you need them as they make everything flow together. You can do this yourself with some help from a friend.
