ML320, Looking for my S4
SRS nightmare
Ok, my ML is at silverstar mercedes dealer more then I drive it. I purchesed it brand new, 55k. Every option except the NAV. The car littlarly broke down the day i picked it up from the show room. ::its a ML320 2000:: This weeks new problem SRS light. again... I got it fixed about a month ago It kept soming on at random. Took it to the dealer they fixed it, no more lights on the dash. Today the srs light makes an unwanted return. Anyone eles ever have this problem?

It can be anything, and very difficult to diagnose over the internet 
. The best I can do is post my experience with a recurring SRS light. The dealer had the car 4 times to fix this before it was resolved, and we were one phone call away from selling the car when they finally resolved the issue.
We got the SRS light come on randomly in our 2001 ML430 and eventually they replaced the babysmart sensor on the passenger seat. That seemed to have fixed the problem, as we have not had the SRS light come back since the fix, probably 2 years ago.
The dealer should be able to pull some codes off the car to indicate why the SRS light comes on. They should warrant their work so hopefully they'll eventually get it right. Good luck.

sad thing is, is that they replaced the babysmart in the pasenger seat last time.... i'm truely getting fed up with this car. This ml has broken down more times in 3 months then my e320 has broken down in the past 5 YEARS. YEARS!. The only thing keeping me to it, is that its a pritty car with all the chrome

My esp, bas, ets, abs lights come on all the time even after the sensors and rotors and pads have been replaced,...case in point, last night driving in the rain I hit a few puddles and the flashing triangle started flashing and right after that all three came on BAS/ESP, ETS, (ABS),...drives me nutz

2002 ML 320, 1997 Jeep TJ , 1965 C10 ,1986 K10 , 1986 XJ , 1986 S15 4+4 Hot rod
BAS/ETS/ABS lights come on but mine also lockes in what ever gear it is in taking off it lockes in 1st and wont shift up , @crusing speed it locks in OD the speed O also stops working . All this happens about every 15 miniutes of driving time.
