parts compatability with the m112

I recently picked up a 99 ML320 from my father as a tow vehicle for the track with a busted transmission. To make towing a bit easier, I was looking for some information on modifications using factory parts. Having a background in other european makes, I am used to "frankenstein" type motors.

Does anyone know what the parts compatability is between the e32 and e32 amg varients of the m112 motor?

Do the superchargers from the following:
* 2001–2003 C32 AMG
* 2001–2003 SLK32 AMG
* 2005– Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6
bolt up?

Are the compression ratios the same between the SC equiped engines? How different are the engine internals?

Are there any parts from the later versions of the m112 which bolt up (as in later model cams with different angles, different head designs etc).

Are the ECU's compatable between one another?

Any sources for technical information on the different model years, and or platforms they were placed in (information on the engine only) would be much appreciated.

It would seem that this would be a relatively low cost upgrade, assuming one found a supercharger/ecu etc from an auto recycler.

If this is a question more appropriate for a motor specific forum, I would ask a moderator to please transfer it there.
