It's an 01 ML430 and the interior door handles are looking worn. What are they made of and can they be restored/dyed?? I am planning on buying the wood covers, but that doesn't solve the handle problem.

If I remember right you can buy a new handle and it is only held on by 2 screws. So you might want to check into that along with your wood inserts.


But I would try some vinyl cleaner, do not use armor all that takes a layer off and makes it shinny and will end up causing more problems in the long run.
