Can someone please tell me where to find the TCU (transmission control unit).
ML 2002 Australian version 94K km's. (Deisel)
I need to check and see if any transmission fluid has made its way into the TCU.
Just replaced the transmission plug (it was leaking).

Goes into limp mode when driven hard (towing)
Resets with key off for ten seconds.

Error codes: P2203 The internal electrical check of component Y3/6n3
(speed sensor 3) has failed.

P220A The speed comparison of Y3 3/6n2 to Y3/6n3 is
implausible.


New conductor plate (electrics kit) part# 140 270 08 61 to be installed this week.
Also any tips or hints on how to remove the TCU (once I find it)

OK call off the search, I found it.
Same place as US version... above the gas pedal.
