2005 C320 4matic + 2005 ML500
2003 Ml350
Hello ML experts,
I'm thinking of getting a 2003 ML350 as my second Mercedes. It's a Certified Pre Owned, and got 30000 miles on it. Are there anything particular I need to pay attention about this model? Is there any reason I should pay a little more and go for 2004 and up?

I don't know what your paying, but I've recently seen '05 ML350's Special Edition package selling below $25 grand, and non-SE's for $22-23,000.. these all had factory warranty remaining, which I highly recommend.
Before you buy, take the Vin number to your local Mercedes-Benz dealership and have their sevice department run it. They will print out the prior service history which will give you an idea if it's had too many problems or what state and area the car lived.. stay away from Katrina hit area.

I've noticed that the ML's are quite popular in the New Jersey region.
I spent a month searching specifically for this Special Edition model & color so became very familiar with the pricing of both the ml350's and ml500's before pulling the trigger. Once found, I then paid an auto inspection company to check it out and DAS Auto Shippers to deliver to me here in Atlanta. Was my first time buying a used vehicle online.
The Special Edition package included the AMG hood & grills, stainless roof rails, color matched side steps, upgraded interior, and included 2 '05 year only colors.. Pewter (wife's color) and Light Blue Metallic (mine).
