brake pads & rotors

hi,

i'm looking for recommendations on brake rotors & pads and where to buy them from?

couple of specific questions.

1. Slotted rotors: Did anyone notice a vibration from using slotted rotors?
2. has anyone use the hawk performance LT/SUV pads?

Cheers,
Boris

www.brakeworld.com

or

http://www.frozenrotors.com/products/frozen-rotors/ (for rotors)

i was thinking of the frozen rotors wondering if they may last longer than the stock ones???

I'm a DIYer, but over the years I've found that the stock rotors and pads from dealer work best with zero problems. I've sometimes purchased aftermarket rotors from places like mbparts.com which are sometimes made by the same manufacturer as the dealer's.

I do have a commercial account at my local dealer so I can buy the parts at around the same price as aftermarket one.

You can also buy parts from an MB dealer in Gainsville, Fl for very, very, competitive prices. It's Duval Motorcars.
