ML55 with resonator delete sound Clip
Just did a resonator delete yesterday. Sound changed a little. It got deeper. Y-pipe was made and it bolts back on to the stock pipes.
Dont know if I gain any HP or MPG yet. I need a couple tank of gas to figure that out. I will probably not do any more exhaust modification. It sounds V8 enough.

You need to put in the rest of the pipes, otherwise you're going to get pulled over for that, or as least a custom muffler at the end. Id run straight pipes no resonator and muffler at the end =D.

That welding that goes from 2 pipes to 1, kinda looks ghetto. Almost flow restricting, got any more pics? How much did it cost you to do.

cost $60. Its done at a local muffler shop. It isnt a robotic welded piece thats for sure. I'm still testing it to see if I gain anything from it. It makes better sound and saves 50lbs for sure.

Try one, or even two "X" pipes in there. You'll get the high freq notes without that low end popping noise.
