Hello, Carsoft 7.4 & Help. That covers it I think.

Hi all,

First off let me say a big hello as this is my first post. I've been parusing these boards ever since I bought my ML in September and I must say I LOVE this community! I was a VW guy for many many years and I'm MB hook line and sinker now. I have a 2002 ML320 Sport edition--which looks identical to the ML55 except for the AMG badge (which I've added), an inch smaller on the rims, and dual exhaust of course (I can dream that it's a 55!). I also added a W164 grill which looks sharp. It's in minty minty shape and had about 45,000 miles on it when I bought it. I'm in love with it as is my wife.

I've recently bought the service manual DVD off of ebay that I'm waiting to arrive, and I'm about to buy this off of ebay - http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...6964&rd=1&rd=1. My only issue is that I don't have Carsoft 7.4. First off, does this look like a good interface an secondly does anyone have a Demo verson of Carsoft that I can check out so that I have something to test this thing out when it arrives? You can post or PM me about any of this and I'd be incredibly appreciative.

Thanks so much for your help. I look forward to continue reading all the great and super helpful stuff on here, and perhaps even add my 2 cents from time to time!

haha. yeah, i did read on here recently where a guy was flamed for having an AMG badge on his 320. i guess i'm thinking that the entire body styling is AMG right from the factory, and the exaust tip has AMG right on it, also from the factory, so putting an AMG badge on it myself wasn't such a stretch for me. maybe if i took the ML320 decal off there'd be a stronger case.

but thanks for the comment and the welcome, MBPOLICE!
