Still searching...

I have an 01 ML55 and I’m still getting the clunk, it’s more during hard acceleration and making turns and accelerating. Left front, and have replaced motor mounts, I thought for sure it was going to be my mounts and although it did help a ton I still have the random clunk at times. Tie rods ball joints all good. Bolts torqued and checked. Just curious if anyone ended up finding a cause to this left front clunk noise. Feels or seems like motor mount, but since I just did them I’m guessing it has to be the differential? Any help is appreciated.

Your ball-joints are bad i had that terrible creaking noise couldnt figure out what was it. changed ball-joints and upper arm controls and it went away
