i have been advised not to purchase any MCS unit from america by both a british mercedes forum and my local dealer due to a number of possible problems that could arise ie: the mapdisks not working correctly so im afraid i must retract my offer of purchase.

aaaaahhhhh, I didnt even think of that stuff. I would assume the Part numbers are identical, no? or are they similar?

Does the nav cd slot play regular cd's as well like the c32? If so, does it play mp3 cd's? Might be interested if it does. Thanks.

it does play CDs but not MP3 CDs

i wouldn't sell it below $700. just put it on the ebay and see if anyone bites. i might sell mine soon if i end up getting a d3.
