Anyone know How to turn off Anti Tow on 03 ML500? My Alarm start to go off for no reason. After $110 dealer diagnosis they found the trip computer is giving out fault as Anti Tow may be setting it off at random. I did not have them fix it as they are unsure of it and this will cost me $450 part plus labor for the guess work. Any Idea?

Its quite possible that its not the tow away alarm but the glass breakage sensor that is also located in the trip computer. Even if the tow away is causing it its likely that its failed and will not stop doing that even if shut off. Had this with the 02 ML500 I had. Anyway to turn off the tow away hit the rocker button that is right by the trip computer but keep in mind when you start the car next time it will rearm. If the dealer did a correct diagnosis they can tell you exactly what sensor tripped it. The price to repair is not bad, why not just let them fix it.
