Connecting iPod to ML350

Connecting iPod to ML350
I have a 2003 ML350 ... and I also have an iPod video.
My radio is relatively standard as far as I know ... 6CD changer in the back, Cassette player behind the screen. No DVD or naviation components installed.
How can I connect the iPod to play music through the car's system?
I want to avoid using the FM transmitters as they pretty much suck. I've also been told that any modulator that is placed in between the antenna and the radio will not give good quality from the iPod, as well as risks making radio quality poor too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ... thank you.

Well I hooked it up in a relatively ghetto way.
I bought a casette device that connects to the headphone jack on my iPod and connected it to the casette player in my car.
I took out the radio unit and ran the wires through the back so they wouldn't be in the way of the radio's door.
Quality isn't that wonderful, but quite frankly I'm excited I got it to work without breaking something.

iPod Adapter
I have a 2003 ML350 and I am looking at the same situation. After some research here is what I have found. Anybody out there have any experience with any of these that could give us some advice as to how easy one brand or another is to install or how well it works? Or do you know of any other options???
