ML320 driver's side door doesn't unlock
Unable to unlock driver side door

Hi,
I am unable to unlock the driver's side door of my 1998 ML320. I can't unlock it by using the key, by lifting the black door knob, by using the lock button on the console or by using the remote. Looks like the black door knob is stuck - I can't lift it in order to unlock the door. I can open the door from the inside by using the manual door lever next to the door handle.
All other doors work fine. When using the remote, I get the click, click, click I saw other postings on similar issues, however, thy were related to unable to lock rather than unable to unlock.
Anybody seen this before? How did you fix it?

Passenger DOOR lock problems.. same HERE
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR ON MY ML320 99
BUT i AM ABLE TO PULL THE KNOB UP TO UNLUCK AND PUSH TO LOCK..
BUT I GET THE SAME CLICK, CLICK , CLICK SOUND..OF THE DOORS TRYING TO LOCK.
CAN SOMEONE HELP US WITH THIS PROBLEM IF YOU HAVE REPAIRED YOUR ISSUE OR GUIDE US TO THE RIGHT PLACE.

I FOUND THE REPAIR MANUAL FOR THIS VEHICLE AND I ORDERED IT.
IT SHOULD ARRIVE THIS WEEK..TO SHOW US HOW TO TROUBLE SHOOT THE PROBLEM AND TAKE THE DOOR PANEL OFF AND REPLACEMENT OF THE DOOR LOCK MOTOR IF NEEDED..
IF YOU WOULD LIKE INFO ON THE MANUAL CHAPTER LET ME KNOW
