Merc ML320
Question Speed pulse sensor 2000 ML

hi all, thanks for any help in advance.
ive been struggling to say the least with my ML. ive purchased a pioneer ANH-P9R sat nav unit which needs guess what.... yep a speed pulse sensor.
before you jump the gun no it isnt in the standard merc radio wiring loom (ive have checked that at least) ive read that you can pick up the wire from several places in the car (wheels i guess) but i only seem to get info about said wires for other merc cars and not the ML in particular. Mines a 2000 year 3.2 Petrol (she old but thats how i like um ;-) if anyone can give me a few pointers in right direction that would be great.
ps: any info please keep in in plane english im a bit slow please dont take for granted i know where the "ole kick panel" or " its behind the ugemaflip" is, i do appriciate all offers of help, but if you can help remember. you are the expert and im your trainee so to speak.

best wishes a crazy ML driver. (stuart)

you need to purchase a canbus adapter. unless you have a factory navigation system, you're assed out.

The canbus adapter installs near the gear selector(shifter) and creates a traditional speed pulse that most everything needs
