03 ML350 & Cargo Cover?

03 ML350 & Cargo Cover?
I just traded in my '99 C230 Kompressor sedan for an CPO '03 ML350 with the 3rd row seats. We've taken out the seats and stored them as most of the time we won't be needing to seat 7. My dealer is saying that I can't have a cargo cover because of the third row? This doesn't sound right to me as I can see where the cover would hook in when extended but i can't tell where you would mount the cargo cover behind the passenger row now that the 3rd row seats are removed. Does anyone else have a cargo cover when they've taken out their third row seats?

2002 ML 320
On the 2002 ML320 there are a davit ( for lack of a better term) behind the top of the 2nd row seats on each each side below were the seat belts are attached, cover is spring loaded and snaps in, then pulls to the tailgate area. Though to be honest I've pulled mine out about 2 years ago and haven't used it since. The windows are tinted and you really cant see behind the seats plus you cant put very much cargo below the cover.
