The ML has only 8 keys available to be programmed in the AAM. Do you have AAM or AAMII? The AAM is for the 2000 and before and the AAMII is on the 2001 and up ML's. AAMII is separated from the main computer and less expensive to replace if you exhaust all your keys. My 99 ML has already had 6 keys made for it (I've made 2, have 1 more and the original owners lost 1 and had 2 others made.).

Only two keys thus far...model year is a 1998 (prod date 04/1997). The eight key limit is not an issue, what is a good source for their purchase? Where I won't get raped on price...
