Unhappy Please Help

I have a 98 ML320 and I want to spark it up a bit. I would like to drive around town and turn some heads, the truck in my point view is sick. I would like to make it more exciting. I like the paint job it is a custom paint burgandy color. I have an upgraded deck in there. (THE PIONEER AVIC
N2 W/REVERSE CAMERA UPGRADE) I also have 20" KMC 127 Chrome wheels on there. I have about 140k miles on there I have some other cars such as
05 G35 pearl white sedan and a 05 S500. SO CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME HOOK UP MY TRUCK PLEASE....

Look, your ML is 10 years old. What ever you do to it is cash down the drain. Why not just leave it as it is and save your money to put down on a newer vehicle in the future. Seems that you have no economic sense whatsoever.

Paid for already?? I would think so for a 10 yr old ML thats worth only 5 or 6K !! I see you have a late model S class or is that your dads?? Your thinking is bizzare and shows very bad monetary habits. If you plan on keeping that ML for a long time then save the money for required maint, not junk mods.A 10 yr old vehicle modded or not does not impress anyone.

2000 ML55 AMG Black on Black
Modifying your car is the European way!

I say go for it. Regardless of how much a car is worth, some of us want to make our vehicle our very own and not have 3 others just like it on the same block.

It sounds like you're already on your way into improving a few things (namely the wheels) but you should consider some suspension upgrades to make it handle/look better. Forget about power, if you wanted more you probably would have bought a bigger engine in the first place. Beyond that, if your new wheels don't sit completely flush with the fenders, then look into some H&R wheel spacers. Many people don't realize exactly how much of an improvement wheel spacers can make to the overall impression of a vehicle. If you really want to spend your next paycheck on something big, possibly an OEM ML55 AMG bodykit or at least the fender flares? As far as affordable mods go, upgrade your sealed beam headlamps to the 2002+ projector headlights. That will probably run you somewhere between $350-$450 if purchased on eBay. Make sure you inform the seller that you're upgrading a 98 model, that way they'll make sure you buy the pigtail wiring adapters to make the whole conversion a plug & play affair.

Good luck.
